Blanca Serrano San Segundo (Madrid) es Graduada en Filosofía (UAM), graduada en Bellas Artes (UCM), Posgrado en Dirección de Cine (ESCAC) y doctoranda en Bellas Artes, Audiovisuales (UCM), directora de la Productora Guy Blaché Films S,L, y profesora en la Universidad The Core School (Grado en Comunicación Audiovisual). ​​Dirige Guy Blaché S.L., productora centrada en diversidad de proyectos audiovisuales, inspirada en la pionera del cine Alice Guy Blaché, la primera directora y productora de cine.

Ha realizado estancias universitarias de larga duración en Aalto University (Helsinki, Finlandia), Oslo National Academy of the Arts (Oslo, Noruega), Katholieke University Leuven/KU Leuven (Lovaina, Bélgica) y la Universidad de Puerto Rico (San Juan, Puerto Rico). Su obra visual y audiovisual ha sido expuesta en Matadero Madrid, en el Palacio Reggio Calabria, Italia, el Museo de Valladolid, así como en Asturias, País Vasco, Madrid, San Juan de Puerto Rico y Helsinki. Durante estas experiencias ha investigado la creciente responsabilidad del espectador audiovisual como parte de la experiencia estética en la era 4.0 y sus repercusiones en la construcción de narrativas. Su investigación se enfoca en los procesos de creación audiovisual o procesos artísticos Film-based-research.

Experiencia en intervención social en ONGs sobre igualdad. Experiencia en eventos culturales, festivales, podcasts y ponencias a nivel nacional e internacional, uniendo el lenguaje cinematográfico con el arte contemporáneo.

Dirige y produce obras que propongan una nueva mirada del mundo, acorde a Gadamer, que invoquen una significación mágica, un arte como símbolo y ritual que nos invite a imaginar otro estado posible de las cosas, en línea con la propuesta de Bloch en El principio esperanza. Como docente y artista audiovisual potencia el pensamiento crítico mediante la exploración de la materialidad. La propuesta del arte como vacío por Oteiza-Heidegger invitando a reflexionar sobre la relación entre lo material y el origen de la violencia en nuestras sociedades actuales, como el coltán, entre otros.

Blanca Serrano San Segundo (Madrid) is a graduate in Philosophy (UAM), a graduate in Fine Arts (UCM), a Postgraduate in Film Directing (ESCAC) and PhD student in Fine Arts, Audiovisual (UCM), director of the production company Guy Blaché Films S.L., and lecturer at The Core School University (Degree in Audiovisual Communication).

Blanca serrano heads Guy Blaché S.L., a production company inspired by film pioneer Alice Guy Blaché, the first female film director and producer. She coordinates and produces several audiovisual projects, including innovative stories and narrative techniques that connect us in a global world.

She has long-term university stays at Aalto University (Helsinki, Finland), Oslo National Academy of the Arts (Oslo, Norway), Katholieke University Leuven/KU Leuven (Leuven, Belgium) and the University of Puerto Rico (San Juan, Puerto Rico). His visual and audiovisual work has been exhibited in Matadero Madrid, in the Reggio Calabria Palace, Italy, the Museum of Valladolid, as well as in Asturias, Basque Country, Madrid, San Juan de Puerto Rico and Helsinki. During these experiences he has investigated the growing responsibility of the audiovisual spectator as part of the aesthetic experience in the 4.0 era and its repercussions on the construction of narratives.

Serrano has participated in exhibitions at national and international levels, collaborating on projects that explore the interaction between nature and artistic creation. He has also served as a speaker at cultural events in Spain and abroad. Film language and contemporary art combine to excite and inspire reflection through his works.

Serrano directs and produces works that propose a new way of seeing the world, in line with Gadamer, invoking a magical significance—an art as symbol and ritual that invites usher possible state of things, reflecting Bloch's proposal in Thed audiovisual artist, she encourages critical thinking through the exploration of materiality. Oteiza-Heidegger's proposal of art as emptiness invites us to reflect on the relationship between the material and the origins of violence in oures, such as coltan, among others.
